Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was selected to play for Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her on the sidelines. It took several years to Allana to re-enter the rugby league. Allana was the first woman to make her debut in the league game against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana is also a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports including the rugby sevens (rugby league) as well as touch the rugby union. Jillaroos' superstar Allana Ferguson has been called upon to announce an early ending to her rugby league career following a tear to her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She already, had tears to the same ligament at the age of 15, 17 and 20, and a 4th tear meant she was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker is forced to leave early from the squad after suffering a fourth left ACL tear. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' player, revealed that news to The Courier Mail this week after suffering a niggle when he was training in the month of November.
